Thinking about using Ice Yarns Silk Merino DK Anthracite Black, it is merino and silk and is #3 DK light worsted weight. I will need 8 balls.
Note to self: Remember how long you searched for a yarn for this, not easy! It can’t be too fuzzy because that would interfere with the beauty of the openwork. Printed pattern is in the straw bag with the Ojo shawl project.
It turned out that the Ice Yarns Silk Merino DK yarn was just perfect for this project! It was a joy to crochet and drapes beautifully. This yarn is highly recommended.
